  I have been an Occupational Therapist for over 17 years now and have been in pediatrics for most of that time. I have worked on a variety of settings.. from hospitals, the NICU, schools, and private outpatient clinics to working a ranch doing hippotherapy and building my own business doing early intervention in the home setting… I have pretty much seen and done it all in the peds world!

  While building my own business on the treatment side of things, I also started doing contract work with insurance companies.. completing clinical reviews of other occupational therapist’s documentation. There were so so so many companies, large and small, that were making the simplest mistakes which was causing them to get flagged.

  That is when it dawned on me.. If I could create guides to help these companies and therapists, like yourself, less companies would be flagged AND more companies could be reimbursed without questioning.

  In addition, if I could help other peds OTs to document better, the way our profession is viewed could really be changed. People would begin to recognize what we do as an essential and valuable contribution to children's well-being.. And so, this is where my journey began…
